Daily server backups
The servers are imaged every day, so a site can be put back the way it was.
cPanel, PHP, databases, WordPress
The standard control panel, current PHP, MySQL databases and WordPress, with mailboxes on the same account if you want simple email that lives with the site.
Sized to the site, not sold in tiers
A brochure site for a small business and a busy site with a shop behind it need different things, so we size the hosting to the site: the storage it needs, the databases, the number of mailboxes. Tell us what the site is and we quote the hosting that fits, and we say if a site has outgrown what we offer and belongs with a specialist. A dedicated server is available on request for the business that needs one.
Moving a site to us
We move websites from other hosts with the site, its database and its mail intact, and we plan the cutover so the site and the email keep working through it. If you are leaving a host that has become hard to deal with, that is the usual reason people ring.
DNS only
If your website or your email lives elsewhere but you want your domain's DNS on nameservers someone answers the phone about, we host DNS on its own. Domains and email has the rest.
Looking after it
Hosting is the quiet part. The site itself still needs updating and the odd fix, and that is website care. A website, its DNS and its email belong where the people supporting them can see them, so hosting, domains and email sit together here.
